Meet Todd Coburn, the driving force behind our mission. As an 8-year Gulf War Veteran, Todd intimately understands the challenges of living with PTSD. Faced with limited support from conventional channels, he took matters into his own hands and embarked on a transformative journey.
Drawing inspiration from the therapeutic power of nature, Todd immersed himself in organic gardening and discovered the mesmerizing world of beekeeping. Little did he know, these seemingly simple pursuits would become the cornerstone of our innovative approach to PTSD treatment.
Imagine spending hours surrounded by the gentle hummmmmm of honeybees, as you tend to a garden teeming with life. For Todd, this symphony of nature became his sanctuary, gradually easing the burden of PTSD that had plagued him for over 24 years.
But our story doesn’t end there. Through Todd’s passion for Permaculture gardening and the revolutionary technique of Electroculture Gardening, something remarkable happened. A vibrant community garden in Ocean Beach, California, not only flourished but also attracted a swarm of honeybees – a symbol of nature’s approval and a testament to the harmonious environment we’ve created.
